Services
I offer individual counselling for adults seeking thoughtful, psychologically informed support.
Individual Counselling
People come to this work for many reasons. Some are experiencing anxiety, low mood, grief, or relationship difficulties. Others are navigating periods of change, identity transition, or long-standing patterns that no longer serve them.
My approach is grounded in psychological theory and evidence-informed practice. I work collaboratively and with care, taking time to understand each person’s history, context, and goals. The focus is not on quick fixes, but on developing insight, strengthening emotional capacity, and supporting meaningful, sustainable change over time.
Individual counselling sessions provide a confidential space to explore what’s been bringing you here and to understand the patterns shaping your thoughts, emotions, and behaviour.
This work may include:
making sense of recurring emotional or relational patterns
understanding responses to stress, pressure, and change
developing more adaptive ways of coping
strengthening emotional regulation and self-understanding
Where relevant, this may also include work around alcohol use, particularly where it functions as a coping strategy alongside stress, mood, or identity concerns.
Sessions are tailored to each person and are offered via telehealth.
Professional standards
I am a registered counsellor and a member of the Australian Counselling Association. My work is guided by the ACA Code of Ethics and professional practice standards. Confidentiality, care, and clinical integrity are central to my work.
Structured programs (by enquiry)
A small number of self-paced programs are available for those who prefer a structured approach to reflection and behaviour change. These programs are psychologically informed and may complement individual counselling where appropriate.
Availability and suitability can be discussed by enquiry.
Introductory conversation
If you’re unsure whether counselling is right for you, you’re welcome to book a brief introductory call. This is a confidential conversation to discuss what’s been bringing you here and whether working together feels appropriate.
Alternatively, you may book a full session directly.
